Who we are

Capri Group is the name we use for three restaurants. Each restaurant is run by its own limited company, and that company is responsible for your booking and for any personal information it holds about you.

1. The service

Our customer Wi-Fi is free for customers while they are at the restaurant. It is provided by the company that runs the restaurant you are visiting, and it is set up and managed for us by Leeds IT Services Ltd.

The customer Wi-Fi is a separate guest network. It has no connection to our tills, card machines, office computers or CCTV, and devices on it cannot see each other.

We do our best to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, fast or free from faults. We may limit speed or data use, or stop the service at any time, for example for maintenance or to protect the network.

2. Using the Wi-Fi responsibly

You must not use our Wi-Fi to break the law or help anyone else to break it; to access, download or share illegal material, including any material showing the abuse of children; to download or share films, music, software or other material without the right to do so; to send spam, or to harass, threaten or offend anyone; to try to get into other devices, networks or systems without permission, spread viruses or other harmful software, or interfere with the network, which can be an offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990; or to use so much of the connection, for example large downloads or streaming to several devices, that it spoils the service for other customers.

If we believe the Wi-Fi is being misused, we may disconnect the device and block it from the network.

3. Your security

Like any public Wi-Fi, our customer Wi-Fi is shared with other people. Please only use websites and apps that are secure (look for the padlock or https in the address), keep your device's software up to date, and avoid online banking or other sensitive tasks unless you are confident the connection is secure. You are responsible for the security of your own device and information.

4. Your information

We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to use the Wi-Fi, and we do not use the Wi-Fi to send you marketing.

To run the network safely, the Wi-Fi equipment automatically records technical details about each connected device, such as its device identifier (MAC address), the time it connected and disconnected, and how much data it used. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in providing a safe and secure service. These records are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the network, unless they are needed to look into misuse.

We may share these records with the police or other authorities where the law requires or allows it. Our customer privacy notice explains your rights over your information and how to use them.

5. Our responsibility

The Wi-Fi is provided free of charge and as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by using it, including loss of data, damage to your device, or anything you access, download or share. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Leeds IT Services Ltd sets up and manages the Wi-Fi as our supplier. It is not a party to these terms and does not provide the Wi-Fi to you. The limits of responsibility in this section apply to Leeds IT Services Ltd in the same way as they apply to us, and it may rely on them.

6. Help with the Wi-Fi

If the Wi-Fi is not working, please tell a member of staff. Technical questions about the Wi-Fi can also be sent to Leeds IT Services Ltd at info@leeds-it.co.uk.

7. Changes and law

We may change these terms from time to time. The version shown on the sign in page and on this website when you connect applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
