All three companies are registered in England and Wales. Restaurant addresses and phone numbers: (details to follow).
Privacy contact for all three restaurants: (details to follow).
1. Who your agreement is with
Your agreement is with the company that runs the restaurant you book with or visit, shown in the table above. Each company is responsible only for its own restaurant. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company, and "you" means the person making the booking or buying from us, and anyone in your party.
These terms are for customers dining or buying for their own use. Where a booking or event is made for a business, the person booking confirms they have authority to do so on the business's behalf.
Our IT, website hosting and customer Wi-Fi are provided for us by our supplier, Leeds IT Services Ltd. Leeds IT Services Ltd is not a party to your agreement with us and does not take bookings, payments or orders. Please contact the restaurant about anything to do with your booking or visit.
2. Booking a table
You can book online through our booking system (Togo), in person at the restaurant, or by phoning the restaurant's reception. A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you, on screen, by email or text from the booking system, or by telling you in person or by phone. Please check the date, time and number of guests on your confirmation and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
Please give us accurate contact details so we can reach you about your booking. We do not take or keep your card details when you book a table.
Please let us know as early as you can if you are running late or your numbers change. We will do our best to fit in extra guests but cannot promise to. (details to follow)
We may need to move you to a different table or area from the one you asked for. Requests for particular tables are noted but cannot be guaranteed.
3. Cancellations and no shows
You can cancel a standard table booking at any time and we will not charge you. We do not charge for no shows. Please let us know as soon as you can so we can offer the table to someone else.
Because a table booking, large party booking or private hire is for a specific date and time, the 14 day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to it. Your rights to cancel are set out in these terms.
4. Large parties
For tables of more than 10 people we ask for a deposit, which we take over the phone. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid. The deposit is non refundable if you cancel or do not arrive, because we turn away other bookings to hold your table. If we cancel your booking, we refund the deposit in full. (details to follow)
5. Private hire and events
To secure a private room or area we ask for a deposit. The booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid. The deposit is non refundable if you cancel, because we hold the space for you and turn away other bookings. If we cancel your booking, we refund the deposit in full. (details to follow)
The person who books a private hire or event is responsible for the bill, for the behaviour of their guests, and for any damage caused by them beyond normal wear and tear. Please ask us before bringing your own decorations, entertainment, food, cake or drink, or anything that could affect other customers or our premises. Events must finish by the times allowed by our premises licence.
6. Age, alcohol and behaviour
We follow the Licensing Act 2003. We only serve alcohol to people aged 18 or over, and staff may ask anyone who looks under 25 for photo ID. We cannot serve alcohol to anyone who appears to be drunk, or to anyone buying it for someone who is under 18 or drunk, and the law does not allow us to make exceptions.
Children are welcome and must be supervised by an adult in their party at all times.
We want everyone to enjoy their visit. We may refuse entry or service, or ask anyone to leave, if they are abusive, violent, threatening or discriminatory towards staff or other customers, cause damage, or behave in a way that is unsafe or breaks the law. Where this happens, any deposit for that booking may be kept. Customers are responsible for any damage they cause on purpose or through carelessness.
7. Allergies and dietary needs
Please tell us about any allergy, intolerance or dietary need before you order, every time you visit, even if you have told us before. You can add a note to your online booking, or tell reception when you book by phone and they will add it to your booking. Our staff will also ask about allergies before you order.
Information about the 14 main allergens in our food and drink is available from our staff, as required by the Food Information Regulations 2014. Recipes and suppliers can change, so please ask each time. Our kitchens handle all 14 main allergens and many other ingredients, so although we take great care, we cannot promise that any dish is completely free from an allergen or from traces of one. If you are unsure about anything, please ask before you order.
8. Prices and payment
Prices on our menus are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. (details to follow) Menu prices and dishes can change without notice, and the price that applies is the one shown when you order. If we have shown a price wrongly, we will tell you before you pay and you can choose whether to go ahead.
The bill is payable in full at the end of your visit. Card payments are processed for us by Global Payments. For large parties we may ask for one bill, or may limit how many ways a bill can be split.
9. Service charge and tips
Any service charge is optional. It will always be shown clearly on your bill, and if you would rather not pay it, just tell your server and it will be removed. (details to follow)
In line with the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act 2023, all tips, gratuities and service charges, whether paid by card or in cash, are passed to our staff in full and shared fairly.
10. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date they are issued and cannot be used after they expire. The expiry date is shown on the voucher. Vouchers cannot be used to pay a deposit unless we agree, must be handed over when used, and cannot be resold. Please keep your voucher safe, as we cannot replace a voucher that is lost, stolen or damaged unless we can verify it on our system. (details to follow)
If you buy a gift voucher online or by phone, you can cancel it within 14 days of buying it and get a full refund, as long as it has not been used.
11. Your belongings
Please look after your coats, bags and other belongings. We are not responsible for their loss or damage unless it is caused by our negligence or the negligence of our staff. Items left behind are kept for a short time and then disposed of or given to charity.
12. Customer Wi-Fi and CCTV
Our free customer Wi-Fi is provided on our Wi-Fi terms of use. We use CCTV at our restaurants for safety and security, as explained in our CCTV policy. How we use your personal information is explained in our customer privacy notice.
13. If we have to change or cancel your booking
Occasionally we may have to change or cancel a booking, for example because of staff illness, a fault with equipment, flooding, a power cut, severe weather or another event outside our reasonable control. If this happens we will tell you as soon as we can, offer you another date if possible, and refund in full any deposit you have paid for that booking if you do not want to rebook. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
14. Our responsibility to you
We will provide our food, drink and service with reasonable care and skill, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
Otherwise, we are responsible only for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, and as our services are for private use, we are not responsible for any loss of business, profit or opportunity.
15. Complaints
If something is not right, please tell a manager during your visit so we can try to put it right straight away. You can also contact us afterwards at (details to follow). We aim to reply within 14 days.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we run the restaurants. The version on this website on the day you make your booking or purchase applies to it.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will still apply. If we do not enforce any part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else without our agreement. Apart from our suppliers who may rely on the limits of responsibility in these terms, no one other than you and us has any right to enforce them.
18. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
